Hello It’s Me.

A short story on how i got here:

I didn't start Daily Dog because I have a dramatic dog-food horror story. I started it because I've spent years in the pet industry. and I got tired of watching pet parents get fed marketing instead of facts. Nobody pays me to say nice things about their brand. I just tell you what's actually in the bag, and what I'd actually feed my own dog.

I have never been particularly interested in doing things the way they’ve always been done.

An entrepreneur, business owner, and Certified Canine Nutritionist, Megan has spent her career challenging the status quo in the pet industry—questioning conventional nutrition, pushing for better products, and building businesses around the belief that pet owners deserve more than clever marketing and a bag of highly processed food.

Her career has taken her through nearly every corner of the independent pet world: retail, sales, education, distribution, brand development, and business ownership. She founded and built an independent pet distribution company from the ground up, eventually selling the business before turning her attention to her next venture.

That venture became Pet Power Studio.

Based in Encinitas, California, Pet Power is Megan’s take on what a modern pet shop should be: no kibble, no boring pet-store energy, and no products on the shelf just because everyone else carries them. Instead, the focus is fresh and minimally processed food, whole-food supplementation, education, and products Megan genuinely believes deserve a place in a dog’s life.

But Pet Power is only part of the story.

Megan is a builder at heart. She loves taking an idea that doesn’t quite exist yet and figuring out how to make it real—whether that means launching a company, developing a brand, creating an experience, connecting the right people, or questioning an industry norm that probably should have been questioned a long time ago.

Her approach to business is equal parts instinct, experience, curiosity, and a willingness to take the road that makes more sense, even when it isn’t the obvious one.

She believes good businesses should have personality. Good products should actually work. Education shouldn’t be intimidating. And taking better care of our dogs shouldn’t have to feel complicated.
